The Jets signed fullback Lex Hilliard on Tuesday. Here is his bio –
Lex Hilliard (FB/5-11/235/Montana/Kalispell, MT) entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft selection by the Miami Dolphins in 2008 (204th overall) and spent his rookie season on the practice squad. He spent three seasons with Miami before signing with the Minnesota Vikings as an unrestricted free agent (03/21/12). After being waived from Minnesota following the preseason (08/31/12), Hilliard signed with the New England Patriots (09/04/12), but was later waived (09/19/12). He has played in 48 NFL games with four starts and has rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries and caught 26 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
