CBS Sports interviewed Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota today.
BILL COWHER: If there is one quarterback you look at in the National Football League and try to emulate and follow, who would that be?
MARCUS MARIOTA: Definitely Aaron Rodgers. I love watching that guy play. He’s in such command of that offense, and he understands the weaknesses in coverages. I hope to emulate that someday.
BOOMER ESIASON: Are you ready to be the Jets quarterback or no?
MARIOTA: Of course. If anybody is willing to give me a shot, I’m ready to be the best that I can be.
