Some reporters have speculated he’s on the hot seat.
I have no idea if that is the case
But if he is, perhaps playing a rookie quarterback can help him with his boss if the Jets have a substandard year
Rex can always say, “What did you expect John, we played a raw rookie who was learning on the job?”
