Is it possible that the New York Jets’ new starting quarterback, will not only help their offense, but their defense . . .
With Aaron Rodgers’ ability to provide sustained offensive drives, it will certainly keep the Jets’ defense off the field more, and more fresh when there on the field.
But also, with Rodgers, the Jets will perhaps play from in front more, which will also help their defense.
“I think we will be able to generate more turnovers because of [Rodgers], “said Jets cornerback D.J. Reed. “Because if the offensive is doing what they are supposed to be doing, we will be up some or most of the time, so the offense on the other side will be aggressive. Last year, teams were getting leads, running the ball in a 4-minute offense, so it was hard to generate turnovers.”
