The Jets’ next opponent, the Indianapolis Colts (5-6), feel they need to win the rest of their games to make the playoffs.
“We understand that we have to run the table, point blank,” said Colts tight end Dwayne Allen. “In order to have a realistic chance, we have to run the table. You can either be intimidated by that or get excited. Because that means that the coaching staff, the coordinators, the players are going to give it everything we absolutely have to win a football game. And that’s exciting football.”
The Jets hope to turn over that table on Monday Night Football by beating the Colts, which they’re certainly capable of doing.
The Jets’ players and coaches would love to throw a monkey wrench into the Colts’ playoff aspirations.
