Cortland – Wide receiver Saalim Hakim is fun to watch.
“Explosive” is a good word to describe him.
So often in camp, he’s been impossible to cover.
He runs under 4.3, and has improved a great deal as a receiver since the Jets got him in the middle of last season.
And he’s not just a track guy playing football. He’s a powerfully-built player, who can win jump balls, and beat the jam at the line.
Hakim is also a very good special teams player.
He looks like he can help the Jets.
