Joe McKnight was arrested. The announcement was made by Brian Costello of the New York Post.
“McKnight was arrested in New Jersey last week after police discovered two outstanding warrants when he was stopped for speeding and changing lanes without signaling,” wrote Costello for today’s Post.
“The arrest occurred on July 30, when the players had a day off from training camp.
“McKnight was pulled over shortly after 11 a.m. in Hanover Township, near the Jets training center, after he passed a police officer on the right at a high speed and then changed lanes without signaling in his 2010 Mercedes Benz, according to Capt. Shawn Waldron.
“Patrolman David Littman checked the license plate and discovered an outstanding warrant for failure to produce an insurance card in the amount of $200 from the town of Summit. He saw a second warrant in the amount of $120 from Springfield for failure to observe a traffic signal.
