Mike Lombardi reported that Antonio Cromartie isn’t at the top of the Jets’ list for players they need to re-sign.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t want him back.
That is not what is going on here.
The JetsĀ are just going to make him wait, let him test the market, and probably signer him later in the process (whenever that process gets started following labor peace).
Let’s be honest, he’s not going to get a lot of offers because he scares people.
The Jets know this.
So there is still a good chance the Jets will re-sign him, but late, rather than early.
