Why did the Jets release offensive tackle Patrick Brown last night?
I have no idea, but he’s now a Miami Dolphin. They claimed him on waivers.

The Jets had to know that the Dolphins have been looking for offensive linemen recently.
Why they would hand them one, two days before they play, is hard to figure out.
Not only can he tell them about the Jets playbook, he can tell them about their game plan.
The Jets released Brown to elevate wide receiver Patrick Turner to the regular roster. Why? They didn’t need him.
It will be interesting to get an explanation for the timing of this Jets move.
On paper, it makes little sense.
