There weren’t a lot of questions that Braylon Edwards could answer about his early Tuesday morning DWI because, “it’s a pending legal matter,” according to the wide receiver.
What was his time like in legal custudy?
“It sucked – It wasn’t anything good,” Edwards said.
Edwards was in the city to attend a charity event hosted by Jerricho Cotchery that helps inner city kids.
“I was in the city supporting my teammate,” Edwards said.
What did he say to his teammates today?
“I was most apologetic to my team,” Edwards said.
And as for the team’s decision to bench him at the beginning of the Miami game, Edwards said, “I agree with it.”
Edwards says he usually takes a car service to the city, but didn’t say why he drove on this occasion.
