With two safeties out with injuries – Jim Leonhard (IR – leg) and James Ihedigbo (knee, ankle), expect to see a lot of Dwight Lowery at safety.
It looks like his days as a cornerback are over. Safety is a much better fit for his skillset.
“(Dwight Lowery) has outstanding ball skills and great range,” Rex Ryan said on Friday. “I think those are some of the things you notice in Dwight when he’s back there. He has man cover skills as well.”
