Rodgers good at dealing with former safeties and current ones . . .

Aaron Rodgers is coming off perhaps his best game as a Jet, with three touchdown passes in a win over Jacksonville.

And you could argue it should have been four, but wide receiver Davante Adams stopped short of the end zone on a long catch late in the game, to help burn some clock. Running back Breece Hall ran it in on the next play, so it was a rushing touchdown instead.

One of Rodgers’ best plays of the game was on his first touchdown pass, and it could be an instructional video for young quarterbacks on how to look off a safety with your eyes, something #8 is very good at.

On his 22-yard TD pass to wide receiver Garrett Wilson in the first quarter, he looked left to Adams on the sideline, drawing a Jaguars safety over to Adams. He then turned his head right to hit a wide-open Wilson in the middle of the field, who had light coverage thanks to the safety rushing over to Adams because of Rodgers’ eye manipulation.

Good stuff.
