The developers of the American Dream Meadowlands project (formerly Xanadu), are suing the Jets and Giants, because they feel the clubs are standing in the way of the advancement of the project.
“We are excited with the project’s recent progress and our vision in completing a world-class entertainment and retail destination,” Paul Ghermezian, American Dream’s president, said. “We have exhausted our patience and tolerance for the interference and feel that we have to take an affirmative step in protecting our and the public’s interests.”
