*Rich Cimini, ESPN: Has Jamien Sherwood lived up to your expectations for him?
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn: As far as?
Cimini: Just the way he’s been playing this year.
Glenn: You know what, I think every player on the defense will feel that they can do better. Listen, there are some expectations that I like that he’s done and there are some things I wish he would do better. That’s with every player. That’s even with myself. But I think he’s done a lot of good things for us and I’m expecting him to continue to growing in the job as being the MIKE linebacker.
Cimini: You mentioned the gap integrity on those first couple of drives on Sunday, there were a couple of runs, was he (Sherwood) involved in some of those?
Glenn: To me, it’s the whole defense. Run game consists of the whole defense. Even if someone does get cut out of a gap, man you have other guys to get ready to take control. Now, we don’t play defense that way, but if it happens, that’s how we have to get ready to play. So, run defense consists of all of us, even the corners, right, when they get ready to come in on the tackle.
