Rex Ryan was asked today if he envisions Geno Smith as a franchise quarterback.
“I don’t want to get into that.” Ryan said. “I was happy with seeing the improvement that he made and the conscious effort that he made from Week Two to Week Three.”
Very smart answer.
There is no reason to make major proclamations about the kid after three games.
Let’s see how this plays out.
