Williams ‘Can’t Wait’ to get him back Dan Leberfeld

Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams can’t contain his excitement about the return of this player.

Talking about Jets inside linebacker C.J. Mosley, who missed most of last season with a sports hernia.

“I can’t wait for him to be healthy for the whole season,” Williams said recently. “His teammates can’t wait for him to get going out there too.”

The four-time Pro Bowl linebacker isn’t just a really good player, against the run and the pass, but the leader of the Jets’ defense.

“He can coach this group of linebackers; that’s how smart he is,” Williams said.

And he’s a big-time playmaker, with top-shelf instincts, who’s always around the football.

“He’s dominant around the ball, he’s a playmaker, he can make plays where the ball is and can’t wait for him to get started,” Williams said.
