According to a story in The Athletic, with 30 sources, after Aaron Rodgers got injured in the opener, the relationship between the four-time MVP and Zach Wilson “soured,” and Wilson “barely heard from” Rodgers.
And according to the story, Wilson “grew tired of the way (Robert) Saleh fawned over Rodgers.”
Rodgers took the high road speaking publicly about Wilson all year, but do you think the legendary QB watched Wilson play and didn’t “grow tired” of him?
Whether you like Rodgers or not, the guy has a PhD on how to play QB successfully in the NFL.
While saying all the right things publicly, do you think Rodgers watched the former BYU star fixate on his first read and not go through his progressions and didn’t “grow tired” of that? Do you think Rodgers watched Wilson’s suspect mechanics, footwork and decision-making, and didn’t “grow tired” of that? Do you think seeing the Jets lose winnable games to teams like the Chargers, Patriots and Raiders blowing a chance to play in a playoff game, didn’t make Rodgers “grow tired” of Wilson?
The concept of Wilson reportedly “souring” or “growing tired” about certain things related to Rodgers, is truly LOL material.
