Some people felt that Santonio Holmes, speaking about his four-game suspension on Wednesday, wasn’t remorsely enough.
Perhaps there is some merit to that.
But when it comes to the New York market, and Jets fans, he doesn’t owe anybody an apology.
The Jets traded for him knowing he was going to be suspended the first four games.
That is probably why they were able to acquire him. The Pittsburgh Steelers were fed up with Holmes.
So Holmes owes nobody an apology in New York. Nobody.
Pittsburgh. That is another story.
