Florham Park – The Jets played their first two games in a short time frame.
This can be very tough on players physically, and can lead to injuries.
However, the Jets came out of the Tampa Bay-New England encounters in relatively decent shape.
“For a team that played two games in five days, we are in pretty good shape,” Rex Ryan said.
DE Mo Wilkerson, perhaps the Jets best defensive player, hurt his ankle late in the New England game, but the injury doesn’t seem too severe, and he should be able to play against Buffalo on Sunday.
WR Jeremy Kerley, who suffered a concussion against Tampa Bay, thinks he will be able to pay on Sunday. He still needs to pass the baseline tests, but he seems poised to do that. He was in great spirits today, was communicating clearly and didn’t seem to be dealing with post-concussion issues.
