I think Ian O’Connor is a gifted writer.
He might be the most talented sports columnist in the New York market.
But he wrote something the other day that seems very unfair.
“[Woody Johnson] so badly wants to be buddies with the tatted-up Ryan,” O’Connor wrote two days ago in a column on the ESPN New York website.
There is a lot you can criticize Johnson over right now related to the Jets, but I just don’t understand how O’Connor can make this assumption.
Maybe I’m missing something, but it just seems like a cheap shot that might not even be steeped in reality.
