Usually, I don’t like the government stepping into sports matters.
They have too many other more important issues to deal with like unemployment and national security.
But in the case of the NFLPA dragging their feet on HGH testing, if this continues much longer, I hope people in Washington do step in.
Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland told the AP that the union “continues to disregard its promise to implement HGH testing. Continuing to block HGH testing in this way essentially will force Congress to intervene, which nobody wants.”
He is right.
The time for HGH testing is now.
The union needs to stop kicking the can down the road.
