Mark Sanchez doesn’t seem great in the Jets conventional offense.
But in hurry-up situations, like no-huddle, he seems to play better. Why is that?
“It’s hard to answer,” Brian Schottenheimer said. “I’m not trying to avoid the question. One thing he likes to do is go faster. We went uptempo in practice today. He likes that. The quicker we can get in and out of the huddle – there is no question he likes to play at a fast tempo.”
The Jets came out in a fast tempo against New England, but it didn’t seem to work well.
But then again, that game was such a debacle, perhaps we shouldn’t use that as a benchmark for anything.
