ESPN’s Adam Schefter had a report today that is drawing a lot of attention.
“At least two teams, and possibly more, have approached the Jets about trading for the 25-year-old (Mo) Wilkerson, a league source told ESPN,,” wrote Schefter.
I’m not sure why this is a big deal.
Teams call about players all the time.
They are doing their due-diligence. These conversations transpire about players and scenarios quite a bit.
And if teams called about Wilkerson, that really has nothing to do with how the Jets feel about the player.
Now if the Jets called teams about trading Wilkerson, that would be a big story.
