Cortland – It’s early.
The Jets haven’t even played a preseason game yet.
But as you all know by now, the Jets didn’t score an offensive touchdown in their scrimmage in Cortland on Saturday night.
And it’s not like they have been lighting it up in camp so far.
They need to get going on the offensive side of the ball.
Because with opponents like Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit, San Diego, Denver and New England on their schedule early in the season, they can’t expect to win games 18-15.
They are likely going to have to put up points to stay in games with some of these teams.
Like I said, it’s still early, and there is still plenty of time for them to get the kinks out.
But it’s clear more offense is needed considering their schedule.
Surely, they know that.
