People who are harping on the Jets’ weapons as their problem on offense need to spread out the blame.
This Tom Brady quote about the Patriots offense also applies to the Jets.
“It’s overall execution of our whole offense, and it’s not the receiver position, it’s every position, including the quarterback position,” Brady said on WEEI Radio in Boston. “The quarterback position, running backs, tight ends, receivers, offensive line — we all have to be on the same page. Until we are, we’re going to struggle.”
The Jets receivers need to play better, but so do players at other offensive positions, including the quarterback, who continues to hold the ball too long and delivers passes too late.
There is plenty of blame to go around offensively for Gang Green.
