I keep hearing from people, “The Jets should start Geno Smith to see if he’s the answer.”
Or, “You might as well let him play so he can learn.”
I’ve never been into either one of these angles.
To me, it always has been, and always will be about, “Who gives a team that best chance to win on Sunday.”
That is what you owe you season ticket holders.
NFL ticket prices are so high, games should not be a test lab.
You should play the best players.
Maybe Geno will turn out to be the best player for the Jets at QB.
We will see.
