Cortland – Late in the Jets’ practice today, the team’s star cornerback, Antonio Cromartie, went down on the practice field, writhing in pain, after colliding with another player, and hurting his left arm.
At first, it looked like it might be serious.
He was in a lot of pain, and was down on the field for a bit.
I asked him twice, coming off the practice field, during the interview period, if his arm was okay, and he ignored both questions.
But he did tell a friend after practice that he’s fine.
So it looks like the Jets dodged a bullet.
Can you imagine if Cromartie got hurt after the Darrelle Revis’ trade?
That would be devastating to this defense.
