Jets CB combo pretty good sans Revis

While Darrelle Revis is obviously a rare talent, the Jets can survive without him.
Antonio Cromartie is also a rare talent.
When you can run stride-for-stride with Santonio Holmes, get inferred with (Holmes pushed off in the middle of the route), and still break up the pass, you have serious skills.
That play happened in the Wednesday morning practice.
Cromartie has amazing man-to-man cover skills.
And say the Jets start first round pick Kyle Wilson on the other side. That is two first round picks starting at corner.
Wilson continues to improve. He has a nonpareil work ethic which is allowing him to move up the growth curve at a rapid pace.
Wilson should start over Dwight Lowery, who is clearly better suited to play safety. I think Lowery could be a Pro Bowl safety with his instincts and ball skills.
But getting back to corner. The Jets clearly can survive without Revis.
They are better with him, but not doomed without him.
