Florham Park – Jets 2025 first-round pick Armand Membou seems like a pretty chill guy off the field, but he’s very fiery on the battlefield.
In a one-on-one pass-rushing drill between the offensive and defensive linemen, the offensive tackle took exception to something veteran defensive tackle Bryon Cowart did during their entanglement and shoved the defender after the play.
Membou is a very affable man off the field, but in the trenches, he certainly employs a take-no-prisoners approach.
After the quick shove, the dispute ended. This was not a training camp fight. It was a training camp shove.
And it shows that even though Membou’s one of the youngest players in the league, just turning 21, he’s not going to take any guff from anybody.
