Message from #8 – We must ‘learn the lessons and communicate’

After the Jets’ season finale on Sunday, the players will have exit meetings with their coaches early next week, and then will go their seperate ways.

But before players take off, Aaron Rodgers feels there needs to be a lot of communication on how to get better moving forward. The Jets missed the playoffs for the 13th straight year, the longest streak in all of professional sports.

“I think it’s important that we learn the lessons and really communicate entirely before we leave town, so we can do a little better next year,” Rodgers told ESPN.

A few things they might want to talk about:

*How to improve focus to cut down on penalties. They committed 12 penalties in their loss to Cleveland last Thursday.

*How to improve offensive line communication to do a better job of passing off rushers on stunts and twists.

*How to improve a run defense that gives up too many big plays due to gap integrity issues and inconsistent tackling.

*How to improve the football culture.
