New York Jets have waived offensive tackle Patrick Brown.
Brown (OT/6-5/310/Central Florida/St. Charles, IL) joined the Jets after he was claimed off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings on September 5, 2010, and was inactive for the first two games of the season.
The Vikings could use a tackle, so maybe he will go back there.
The Jets might be making room for center Robby Felix to be elevated from the practice squad due to Nick Mangold’s shoulder injury.
