On Friday, the Jets signed former University of Washington kicker/punter Jared Ballman.
They need another camp leg so they don’t wear out Nick Folk, and Ballman can fill this role.
He can also can give the punters a break. He was a punter at Washington as well.
In mini-camp practice on Monday, Ballman showed good ability as a kickoff guy.
