According to NBC Sports, the Jets are going to release defensive tackle Antonio Garay.
This is surprising because Kenrick Ellis is hurt, and didn’t have a great summer.
But Rex Ryan has intense loyalty to Ellis, so this probably isn’t a big surprise.
So it looks like Jets will go with Damon Harrison and Ellis at nose tackle.
It’s possible that Ryan will start Ellis ahead of Harrison. Ryan really likes Ellis.
