Florham Park – Jets nose tackle Kenrick Ellis was riding the stationary bike early in practice, and wasn’t on the practice field.
Ellis, a Rex Ryan-favorite, is dealing with a back injury suffered in the weight room while the Jets were training in Cortland.
Ellis is a long-shot to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If Ellis can’t go, Damon Harrison will start at nose tackle.
