Jets are 1-4 on the road this year.
And they face an major challenge on Sunday at Baltimore.
What do they need to do to rectify their road issues?
“I think number one is just the preparation you do during the week,” said Rex Ryan. “Then you take it out there. Is it tougher to play on the road? Absolutely. Communication has got to be sharper when you’re on the road, especially offensively. It’s actually easier to communicate on the road on defense.
“Then the old thing, your defense has to play well. And I think you have to protect the quarterback well, especially on the road. Those guys are teeing off on the passer. Sometimes you have to use a silent count, so you don’t necessarily have the cadence advantage that you normally have, especially playing at home.”
