Jason La Canfora ran a story today about the Jets re-assigning Mike Tannenbaum to another position in the organization, and hiring a new General Manager (we had this story in our premium section last week).
In the story, La Canfora ran a quote, from an unnamed punk, insulting the Jets and the idea.
“That’s totally ridiculous,” one exec said. “Only the Jets.”
Yes, every other organization is perfect.
What a tough guy that unnamed executive is. Talk about a paper tiger.
Look, I’m not sitting here saying the Jets organization had a good season. They did not.
But what is the point of that gratuitous cheap shot?
None.
