LT helping kids improve their performance Dan Leberfeld

New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson was at Mission Viejo High School today.  He hosted and led a Gatorade G Series Pro athletic performance eduating high school athletes on the importance of proper sports hydration and nutrition.

“This was been a great day to educate high school athletes about nutrition and hydration to take their game to the next level,” Tomlinson told Jets Confidential. “What we got done today is good for them – they will see a change in their performance if they eat better and hyrdrate better and they do believe in stuff we taught them.”

It’s pretty amazing how far sports drinks have come.
Tomlinson and other athletes now drink three different types of Gatorade – one for before the game, one during the game and one after.

Things have come along way from that lab in Gainesville.
