LaDainian “LT” Tomlinson spoke extensively after the game about Santonio Holmes’ huddle incident.
Holmes got into an argument with teammates in the huddle late in the game when a few questioned his attitude.
“The worst thing that can happen is when teammates start to question your passion,” Tomlinson said. “Guys are turned off by that. Some guys had enough.”
What matters worse is that Holmes is a captain.
But that begs the question – why?
“He became a captain because of what he did on the field (last year),” Tomlinson said.
Tomlinson doesn’t dislike Holmes.
“Santonio is not a bad guy; he’s a passionate player,” Tomlinson said. “When you are passionate, sometimes you don’t handle it the right way.”
