Macc is right, but now must be held to it Dan Leberfeld

Mike Maccagnan had a press conference on Monday, and said at one point, “We are always measured by wins and losses.”

This certainly should be the case in the professional sports world.

However, it needs to be pointed out the Jets are coming off back-to-back 5-11 seasons.

And after those back-to-back 5-11 seasons, Maccagnan and Jets coach Todd Bowles got two-year contract extensions.

So maybe they were judged by more than wins and losses, especially last year, considered a rebuilding year by many.

But this year, and moving forward, the Jets’ GM and head coach need to be measured by wins and losses.
