First Dee Milliner missed time early in training camp due to a holdout, and then the rookie cornerback missed practices late in camp because of a calf injury.
Mixed in-between was an uneven performance against Jacksonville.
So with all the being said, maybe the Jets should ease him into the lineup, and not start him from the get-go.
Don’t get me wrong, he should have a big role, but maybe starting early in the season isn’t the best way to go.
Perhaps they should start Darrin Walls, who had a terrific summer, until Milliner is truly ready to start.
