John Idzik released wide receiver Ryan Spadola on October 5.
He signed with the Miami Dolphins practice squad on October 8.
The Jets reportedly wanted him to sign with their practice squad.
“There was a lot of miscommunication,” Spadola told the Palm Beach Post. “It wasn’t until I got down here that I found out there was a spot for me (with the Jets).”
Was Spadola released by the Jets because of one drop against New England?
“That’s the only drop I had in about six weeks or so,” he said. “If they want to blame my downfall on that, so be it. I’m human.”
