Former Washington Redskins and Houston Texans GM Charley Casserly, now an NFL Network commentator, doesn’t think Geno Smith is ready to start.
“He’s not ready to play,” Casserly said on the NFL Network. “The problems I saw in college he showed in the preseason – he held the ball too long, he was late on throws, he forced throws and he was inaccurate.”
