Mort (Sexton) – Sparano will be Jets OC Dan Leberfeld

ESPN’s Chris Mortenson wrote a few minutes ago, “According to league and team sources, the Jets have had former Dolphins coach Tony Sparano as their top choice to replace Schottenheimer in the event of a vacancy. The sources said the Jets are expected to announce Sparano’s hiring Wednesday.”

Mortensen is very close with Sparano’s agent Jimmy Sexton, and likely got this info from Sexton, so you can go to the bank with it.
