Very cerebral football player . . . rarely out of position . . . former linebacker who still hits like one . . . 84 tackles in 2011 (second on team) . . . has a real nose for the ball – had five picks in the last five games of the 2010 season . . . four-year started at a high pressure program – so NFL won’t faze him . . . outstanding leader – was Notre Dame’s single captain in 2011 . . . durable at a position where that is rare . . . should start as a rookie in the NFL . . . hips a little stiff and his speed is straight-linish . . . quick targets could give him trouble . . . second round.
