While it’s a very good show, one positive thing about the cable program about the Jets ending, is we can all stop hearing the non-stop John Conner tributes.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the guy is going to be very good, but the plaudits this summer were a little over the top.
Rex Ryan went nuts about a block Conner threw against Philly in the preseason finale. But here is the problem with Rex going wild over this block. The player that Conner was blocking made the stop.
Is it a great block when the defender the fullback is blocking makes the tackle? Probably not.
The kid has great potential, but he has a lot of work to do.
