One last thing on Scott

Look-it, the chances of Bart Scott being cut are a major longshot.

That would leave $4,500,000 of dead money next year for the Jets the way his contract is structured.

And he’s still a good player and can help the Jets next year.

But notice I said “good.” He’s a good player, not a great one.

He’s already made a fortune over the first two years of his deal. Is he overpaid for his skillset, absolutely, but God bless him for making that kind of money after¬†overcoming so much in his life.

But if he really wants to help the Jets win a championship, he should re-work his contract.

They have a lot of key players to re-sign.
