One of Hall’s best runs was for three yards

RB Breece Hall has had a lot of big plays this season, including a 25-yard catch-and-run in the Jets win over Philly. He also had a couple of big chunk runs in this game as well.

But his best play of this game might have been a 3-yard run.

3-yard runs usually don’t get a ton of attention, but this one, from late in the third quarter, should.

Here is the play from the stat sheet:

3-1-PHI 16 (2:53) (Shotgun) Bre.Hall up the middle to PHI 13 for 3 yards (Nick Morrow).

You might say, “Third-and-one, he gained three yards, what is the big deal?”

Well, he should have been stopped for no gain by the linebacker Morrow, who had him dead to rights in the initial hole.

But the gifted Hall, executed a perfect spin move, to get around Morrow, and gain three yards.

This was a big-time play by a big-time talent.
