One thing new regime must do different than the last . . .

The film doesn’t lie as they say.

You always gotta go by the film.

You can never let your love of the person impact your film study or line-up decisions.

How often did we hear the former full-time head coach describe a player as “an elite human being?”

That is great. We need more “elite human beings” in this world, but you can’t let them impact your evaluation of that player.

You can’t stick with “elite human beings” in the lineup just because you like them as people and you don’t want to hurt them by pulling them, even if they are hurting the team.

If somebody is getting gashed against the run over and over again, they could be the Dalai Lama, they need to be replaced.

Watching the film with rose-colored glasses is not going to help you win on Sunday.

Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey need to throw all the rose-colored glasses in the garbage at 1 Jets Drive.

And go by the film, man, not the heartstrings.
