Avon – Rex Ryan caused another stir on Thursday when people claimed he insulted New England quarterback Tom Brady.
“There is no one else like this guy in the league,” Ryan said about Indianapolis QB Peyton Manning. “Nobody studies like him. I know (Tom) Brady thinks he does. I think there’s probably a little more help from (Bill) Belichick with Brady than there is with Peyton Manning. Tom Moore has done a great job with him for forever (as well as Jim) Caldwell and Tony Dungy. It’s Peyton Manning. That’s who it is.”
I have a different take on who this quote should offend the most, and that is current Colts offensive coordinator Clyde Christiansen.
So if the Jets Nation is worried about somebody being extra fired up over a Rex barb, it’s the offensive coordinator they are facing on Saturday night.
And since Christiansen was probably insulted, in turn, Manning probably isn’t too happy either.
