NFL/political columnist Peter King of Sports Illustrated had a note today about the Darrelle Revis’ contract dispute. And you know darn well, if King is writing about this, he got some info from very high-ranking people.
“It’s not believed Tannenbaum ever told Revis or his representatives that he’d open up the contract again after two years,” King wrote.
“It’d be surprising, I think, if Revis opened training camp with the Jets in late July. It’d also be surprising if the Jets didn’t draw a pretty hard line in 2012.”
